Great Gray Owl - Early morning hunt.

That's what I was thinking. It would have been easy for the camera to focus on the trees in the background in number two. Just out of curiosity, what camera, lens, and focus mode where you using?

Thanks for the kind words but the light was as a challenge and made image IQ less than what I had hoped for. So no prints from this set.

I'm usually in Manual mode and the cameras used were Canon 6D and 7D. The lenses were a 70-300 'L' and a 400MM 'L' lens. Hope that helps.
