Hey! Wait a minute, guys (and gals), I'm old! Often, "Chit Chat" is all that gets my blood pressure up enuff to function every day! I owe what little ability I have to walk to the kitchen for a cuppa coffee to mindless spouting of so-called "liberal" and "conservative" opinions that only prove that most people, over the last sixty years or so have forgotten what those two terms are supposed to mean. God bless all the Trolls!

Hit and run. You are a coward.
His case in point exactly!
Like I say to people who complain about talk radio. DON"T LISTEN. Change the channel.
As soon as you see it's not a joke leave that thread. Nobody make's you read something you don't want. Or are you like the people that slow way down as you pass an accident because you have to see what's happening even though your were angry about being stuck in the traffic because of people slowing down to look?.

Anybody can become angry that is easy, but to be angry with the right person and to the right degree and at the right time and for the right purpose, and in the right way that is not within everybody's power and is not easy.

Good example: Jesus overturning the merchant's tables in the temple.

It's always more fun to argue!! :XD:
Alas...wlgoode, you have created a monster not unlike that which you bemoan. I, too, have been frustrated. I'll see an interesting topic I'd like to join in, yet, by the time I read to the bottom of page one, is has deteriorated into the same old snarky sandbox chatter as most of the rest of them.
It's like reaching into the refrigerator for a Caesar salad, and all that's there is beer. I wouldn't reply, either, if I were you.

I'll drink to that!

Often replies on Chit-Chat contain no cogent argument to the discussion.
Often they contain nothing more that an expression of anger. Insults, name calling, slurs and slander. For those who disagree, go back and look at some contentious threads where one puts forth an argument and the other repeatedly responds with nothing but anger.
Psychologists agree on this point: The source of anger is almost always fear!
I will not respond to replies. Discuss among yourselves.
Often replies on Chit-Chat contain no cogent argum... (
