I don't have many landscapes, Randy. If you open the subject matter or start a non-landscape thread, please let me know. :-P

Since my DH has a brother that lives just outside of Gatlinburg, TN, we try to make at least a couple of trips a year down there. Love Cades Cove, try to make the loop trip at least once each visit. Can be a pain trying to figure out a time when there aren't hundreds of people with the same idea, but it's still great.

I really like the way the background is in layers giving the photo depth.

I like how you use the road to draw the viewers eye. I find I like roads, paths etc. and use them a lot.

:) You got it though... I think only Photographers and Cinematographers realize how much a difference minutes or even seconds can make... Once my Wife was with me and I was trying to find a good place to shoot from because it looked like it was going to be a great sunset.. She said what is your hurry? After I took my shots I told her to close her eyes and count to 20.. Point was proven... :)

My favorite is trying to find a place to pull off the road to photograph an outstanding sunset but of course because everyone else is slowing down to look at it as well I'm too late. Sadly it's happened more than once.

I know I have already said it, but keep em' coming... The only reason I have not responded to any individual image is because I like every single one posted here for different reasons and yes , I have looked at them all... If this were a competition it would be so hard to choose from those already posted..

LET'S MAKE IT UP TO 5 B&W IMAGES OF ANY SUBJECT!... :)
