Hey Vic -
You can adjust angle and perspective with post-processing software. I use Corel Paintshop Pro X4 and Nikon View NX2 on my Windows system (Sony Vaio), Apple Aperture 3 and Adobe Lightroom 3 on my Macintosh computers (iMac and Macbook Pro)...

I use PSP as well. I've been working with PSP since I think version 1 or 2 and it went all the way to 11 then started doing X... I really like it and can understand it better than photoshop

Thank you! I was in my back yard, I live on the hill going up to Milton

I have some shots from what appears to be near the same location on Mulholland. That can be a crazy road to traverse at night - and there can be some strong wind up there too. Have spent more than one night wandering around the San Fernando Valley and the L.A. Basin on this road myself (will find some images to share of these also). I have attached an image taken from Griffith Observatory overlooking the L.A. Basin - I took this image below a while back (on a tripod) when still familiarizing myself with the camera I shot it with - and actually had the ISO way too high (the auto ISO function that was not fully disabled). Still like the shot though..

It is a Nikkor 16-85mm f/3.5-5.6 ED VR. It is very versatile and does a much better job than a kit 50-200mm, And I would say has equal or better distance

Thanks for sharing that info.
When I purchased my Nikon D700 FX I purchased a Nikkor 14-24mm f/2.8 and a Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 initially. I was going to get a Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8 to complete the zoom trio for the device, however I hike much (from coast to coast) and chose to minimize the amount of times I would need to change out lenses when shooting and opted to get the purchase a Nikkor 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6 VRII.
This accomplished two things - the telephoto reach to 300mm with good glass and a wide enough focal point at 28mm that allows me to carry two lenses (the 14-24mm and 28-300mm) instead of three when hiking and have the wide to telephoto reach I am accustomed to.
Also got a Sigma 15mm f/2.8 Fisheye a couple weeks ago that i intend to carry with me all the time in my camera bag.
Really appreciate the shares of how you see the world through a lens.
