Liking what you all are doing here. I tried one that was or should be a throw away just to see if anything could be salvaged. The ran it through a filter for more folly. Not really a folly person but doing it here just to say I did.
SOOC: f/26, 1/800 sec., ISO-8000 (aha, there you go dummy, forgot to change it)
PP: straightened and cropped, brightness decreased, big boost in contrast, minor adjust in highlights to bring out darker cloud color in a very grey overcast sky. Slight increase in color temperature and saturation, but no change in tint. Some sharpening and noise reduction.
PP: filtered to just a fun sketch in Elements 10.

Alright my friends..... Here is the February calendar as it stands right now......
We no longer have hosts....When someone takes on the role of host, sometimes they feel it comes with the burden of teaching......
We now have Topic Providers.... These people provide a topic, start the thread and encourage all to share their skill and knowledge about the topic. Remember, we want this to be a learning experience, so if you are interested in learning more about something please share your topic with us all, and I encourage our more knowledgeable friends to share your wisdom, skill and encouragement with us....
You will notice that there are lots of empty spaces for you to share your topic....... PM Roadrunner with an idea. To keep this challenge going it takes us all working together

This was taken back in 2012, but wanted to show it. I used my Sigma 150mm macro. At the time I had no ring flash so was using a light to try and enough light and focus, etc. In the end it was aperture priority, .3sec. f2.8 ISO 200. I didn't like the picture but ended up cropping in and then changed "hue and saturation" and masked some of the color back in. I was pleased with the final result from a picture I almost deleted.
p14 Beautiful transformation.

RR, I have been reading the whole post from work and am in shock! Have you gone back and read his replies?
Yes, I have. Very disheartening.

This is a flower I took a few weeks ago. I still didn't have my ring flash at that time.

It might be fun if you took a segment and did the very first challenge that started the challenges. That would be neat, I think.

Turned out pretty cool.
The object was pretty unique, had to try something. Need to go back and do a little salvage work on the rest of them.

Cool Idea, some of us missed the initial kick off in January, 2012.
Very nice challenge going here. So nice to see what you all are doing. I am only on page six but am seeing some nice work everyone.
