Alright my friends..... Here is the February calendar as it stands right now......
We no longer have hosts....When someone takes on the role of host, sometimes they feel it comes with the burden of teaching......
We now have Topic Providers.... These people provide a topic, start the thread and encourage all to share their skill and knowledge about the topic. Remember, we want this to be a learning experience, so if you are interested in learning more about something please share your topic with us all, and I encourage our more knowledgeable friends to share your wisdom, skill and encouragement with us....
You will notice that there are lots of empty spaces for you to share your topic....... PM Roadrunner with an idea. To keep this challenge going it takes us all working together

This was taken back in 2012, but wanted to show it. I used my Sigma 150mm macro. At the time I had no ring flash so was using a light to try and enough light and focus, etc. In the end it was aperture priority, .3sec. f2.8 ISO 200. I didn't like the picture but ended up cropping in and then changed "hue and saturation" and masked some of the color back in. I was pleased with the final result from a picture I almost deleted.
