Great points.
One who believes guns kill people... not people kill people, could also now make the case for officers of the law should no longer be allowed to carry weapons anymore (since this mental case was a retired sheriff.)
Why not just get to the ridiculous end game now?
Utopia is the goal for libs, and guns don't exist in utopia.
Only Godlessness, and anything goes if you believe it's personally OK...as long as guns aren't there.

What a confused bunch of inconsistent goof balls liberals are.
There is no consistency to their religion of anti conservatism.
Contradiction to their own standards rule their views.

Kill babies if they are an inconvenience, but NEVER kill a snail darter.
Kill endangered birds by the hundreds with wind mills, but don't make a polar bear move a mile ...in the middle of an 'endless' tundra to drill for oil helping to create jobs and saving the dead American economy for humans save.
ignorant liberals suck!!
Great points. br One who believes guns kill people... (show quote)

Libs don't believe in freedom at all, that is the greatest lie that the progressive tells, yes it does seem that they are all in on changing the way our society views certain acts that were previously held as immoral or perversions, but the one thing that progressives hate more than any other is freedom, look at the way that they attack free market economics, look at their current war on capitalism...

Most of the world's population was enslaved right up until the 19th century when the seeds of capitalism were germinated and nurtured... and in many parts of the world man has lived free ever since, in a fashion that their ancestors could never conceive of... At the basis of true freedom is economic freedom, and progressives would take that from us if they could and turn the reigns of our economy fully into the hands of bureaucrats in our nation's capitals... They are already more than half way there and this is a fight that progressives will never tire of... Here in the US we saw this fight in the mid 19th century, we saw it again in the 1910's, 1930's, following WWII, and now it has raised its ugly head again at the beginning of the 21st century...

Government control and the mega corporations that it will support and foster destroy economic choice and once your economic choice has been destroyed man can have no freedom.

I'm out of this thread.
The name calling is not something in which I'll participate .

Yes, I'm a liberal and an atheist. I have also built, several, successful businesses and paid my employees higher wages, because I am a caring person.

Am I a paradox ? I commanded a combat unit in Germany, I risked all I owned to capitalize my businesses.
I'm the same religion as the greatest Jew of all time, but don't believe in
TIMITS.

My family...say goodbye
My family...say goodbye...

First I will not lower myself to personal attacks as you do to make my point. The cell phone user was wrong in using the phone in the theater but should he be killed? He should have been thrown out of the theater not killed. What kind of people want to see a man killed because he used a cell phone when you don't like it. Is life that cheap? The right wing keeps talking about christian values and the display of the 10 commandments , well somewhere it is written, lets see, Thou shall not kill. Can't wait to see how the shootings in New Mexico are rationalized

The ex-police officer is in deep dodo, there are no laws in Florida or anywhere else that will exculpate this man. He murdered this man over a small argument that had escalated, but in no manner will he be able to claim a legitimate self defense, this guy is toast....

I wonder how many un-armed citizens in the country were murdered unable to defend themselves against armed violent attackers?

Sorry, JoboX, you aren't allowed to post things like this, here.

Guns are good! Guns are God! We need to clutch them to our bosoms, like our children.

... next time you're confronted by someone intending to rob you or rape your daughter, you will be defenseless.

You DON'T EVER say bad things about guns. NEVER!

It's un-American.

Thank You StoneCherub.

I see that you have come over to our side. Congratulations !!!

I assume you do read newspapers ...... I have to admit ... I do not know how Fox news carried the story ...

Oh! Fox News claimed that the deceased was a flaming liberal and a progressive's progressive and there for the shooting was completely justified and called for more such shootings to take place in the future as we take our country back... They have even started a petition on their website to have this patriot freed as it is certain that Eric Holder is standing somewhere in the shadows behind his unjust imprisonment!

Are you really this moronic?

More family members die from gun shot wounds fired by other family members and friends than die in car crashes in the US!

What an uninformed statement!

It baffles ME why a rational person would NOT carry a gun to go to a picture show . . . or anywhere else, if it's legal.

It's sad that some people have been denied the right to own a firearm for so long, that they have lost the will to stand up for their rights.

The ones who prefer to not carry a gun should not carry a gun. But please, please, allow the law-abiding citizen to protect himself, his family and the ones who do not think highly enough of THEIR families to provide protection for them.

I see Sarg, when the facts don't fit just make them up... ROFLMAO!

Now if you actually take the time to read the stats remember that gun deaths not only include all the accidental shootings but also include murder and suicide.

Still, more people die in car accidents than in all gun related deaths.

25 people in the theater and the movie hadn't started. If bothered he could have changed seat or went to management. The man killed may have been obnoxious but when has this been a capital offense? Only in Florida! Of coarse that is a reason to stand your ground in Florida. Where did you read that the dead man was testosterone poisoned macho man that threw popcorn. I read the report by a witness that there was a shot and then popcorn flew in the air? Anyway what kind of people have we become when we just shot people when there is something we don't like?

The guy that shot the man in the movie theatre was just an ordinary citizen that felt that it was all right to carry his gun around with him and take it into a movie theatre. WHY? NOW the asshole is a criminal.

Many countries like England and many others don't understand Americas gun laws and they made the mistake of giving up their weapons. As a country with more ethnic backgrounds than any other country in the world, we feel that we need the gun laws which you feel you don't. If you are all or mostly all alike in your country with upbringing and ways of life, then you are less concerned with self protection, then in a country that has left all nationalities come with poor immigrant laws.
