It baffles me why a rational person needs to carry a gun to go to a picture show..... Time to lock them guns away

It baffles ME why a rational person would NOT carry a gun to go to a picture show . . . or anywhere else, if it's legal.
It's sad that some people have been denied the right to own a firearm for so long, that they have lost the will to stand up for their rights.
The ones who prefer to not carry a gun should not carry a gun. But please, please, allow the law-abiding citizen to protect himself, his family and the ones who do not think highly enough of THEIR families to provide protection for them.

May agree with you there Doddy....
90 guns per 100..... although I don't think that equates to 90% gun ownership per individual.
We the English are to blame during the 1700's....so we are not blameless in this by a long way.. The constitution was built on our actions historically.
Has anyone got statistics on deaths like this without gang style murders..
what I am getting at is Accidental gun death to compare against lower gun death countries??

I'll clarify my position
I am not anti gun in controlled circumstances..
Target shooting
Hunting
Pest control
You guys could possibly give more examples as it is not part of our culture over here... ( not meant to be taken in a holier than thou attitude)
I have a hobby shooting a camera some people shoot with guns... not a problem when its controlled.
I am anti gun when it comes to civilians in daily life carrying deadly weapons like what happened in Tampa. He seen the red mist and has now ruined the victims life his life and more importantly all the family around them.. they will be victims of not war but a momentary lapse in self-control.
