I like #1. It pulls you more into the scene and what the photo is all about.

I like #1, the contrast colors pop more. Or am I imagining it.

That's also my reason for liking #1. The colors are more intense. At least on my monitor, they are.

I vote #1...partially.

I like the enormity of the balloons compared to the lady walking in front of it. I would, however, crop from the bottom (and maybe from the right slightly) and remove some of the grass, but not as much as in #2.

I was going to offer to play around with it for you, but jim_hill pretty much did what I was going to suggest. =)

I think I like the second one better.

On another note I have to wonder if these are the same balloons I got pictures of when they flew over my town in OK and landed just outside of town. They were the exact same coloring and there were two of them that day as well.

I shot this at a balloonfest here, in Kansas City. Which one has more impact? #1, or #2. I am leaning toward #1 myself. I am trying to improve my composition.

I like the color better in the first one, the crop better in the second one. Also, Can you remove the girl? I think it would be better with out her.

The girl makes the images. Without her you lose everything.

left as they are # 2 - me, I'd play with cropping way tighter on the woman and her shadow might not work - and it might

I suppose I could if I were any good at that. But I chose this photo on purpose. I have many other photo( I think) like this that don't have people in them. I will see what I can do.

Sorry, I've got to laugh. Is the photo about the balloons? Is it about the girl? Is it about the balloons and the girl? Get rid of the truck. Now it's get rid of the girl! This is getting a little like dissecting Shakespeare in a high school English class! Ah, yes, but did he really mean that literally? Or was there some deep cosmic reference?

tainkc, at this point, I think you should pick one, and go out and take some more pictures.
