Way to go, I watch the pickers and really enjoy all the items and people that they meet. Great photos.

I can't really speak American, but the expression "You done good", springs to mind. I like them all.

Yep...that's pretty good American English I'd say. Thank you Kindly.

Watched your slideshow, well done! Appreciate the tour, saw several items from my parents time.

Glad you got to take a quick visit to the store...they have a lot of stuff in storage too, most of it is available for purchase online.

Some thoughts:

1. Excellent photos of the shop--I watch the show from time to time.
2. For GeneB--I think they drive the Mercedes van because it's extra tall.
3. I also enjoyed your Gaither Vocal Band sequence. Bill is from my home area of Alexandria, Indiana. I haven't talked with him for a few years, but I used to see him quite regularly. His brother Danny, who was a good friend of mine and was a member of the original Gaither Trio, was a fantastic singer.

Your Gaither connection is impressive. My wife is also a big Gaither fan. She used to sing in Christ Church Choir and toured with the Gaithers on occassion. She has talked about traveling to Alexandria for a special concert held there every year. The name escapes me right now. Many famous singers have come out of that choir. Joy Gardner, Guy Penrod and Geron Davis to name a few.

Thanks for visiting...stay warm up there.

I like this show a lot but one thing about it bothers me. Why do American Pickers drive a Mercedes truck?

Your flickr site is great. thanks for posting

Thanks for visiting Gene. My Flickr site is a concoction of everything imaginable (good, bad and ugly). I use it to store important images (off site), plus its very handy and easy for sharing photos with friends and family members.

They certainly meet some interesting folks. I've thought about doing that myself. Not to buy stuff...just to snoop about peoples property, but then I'd probably get shot.

The storm fizzled. It was a walk in the park. I didn't even need the snow blower.

That's good...The Weather Channel really made it sound like you all would be snowed in for weeks. Kind of fizzled here too. Blew all my patio furniture in the next door neighbors yard but no wind damage.

Great shots, James, and that's a store in which I'd love to spend a lot of time. Wow! What a bunch of stuff!

Hi Folks, stopped by the American Pickers store here in Nashville a couple days ago. Mike and Frank were both there but in hiding. They had just arrived with a van load of new items that would be unloaded later that day. So, I moseyed around the shop and took a few photos. There's so much cool, old stuff...I had a fun time checking it all out. For those who what to take the full tour of my photo shoot, below is a slideshow link. It's fun to see stuff that's been featured on TV. All of it is way to expensive for my taste. If I'm going to buy a some crap, I can get that a Walmart for a lot less (hee, hee). Glad I could share a small bit of the show with folks here. That's the beauty of this site and all our friends here...we get to visit the world from the comfy of our computers. Merry Christmas ya all down there on the Gulf coast.
