Hi Folks, stopped by the American Pickers store here in Nashville a couple days ago. Mike and Frank were both there but in hiding. They had just arrived with a van load of new items that would be unloaded later that day. So, I moseyed around the shop and took a few photos. There's so much cool, old stuff...I had a fun time checking it all out. For those who what to take the full tour of my photo shoot, below is a slideshow link. Enjoy

Love that last shot! Wish it were mine, though if it were mine I probably wouldn't be able to resist putting special effects on it, so maybe it is safer in your hands.

Well, it's now the 3rd shot...I uploaded the wrong photo, so deleted one which changed the order. Go ahead and download it and play around with it if you want. I've been so busy with processing so many photo's lately, I'm getting worn out. I know you can do something wonderful with it!

Great slide show, James. Two stores I'd love to visit are this one and the Pawn Stars store.

Thanks John for visiting...yep I hear you. I watch both shows quite a bit. My wife and I did visit the Pawn Stars store in June 2011. The line to get in had about 60 people in it. I have a few photos, but felt weird about taking them...especially since I was a couple "no photography" signs, I took the risk and no one said anything.

Yea, I could have spent 2-3 hours there...but had a doctor appointment to keep, so this was a rush job. Thanks for visiting the store.

I'm getting tired, too, will have to take some time off for Christmas! Here's a version just a little warmer and brighter with the PSE comics effect applied to it.

Yep, you've been busy...time for a break. That's really cool, it'd make a great illustration for the kids version of "The kid pickers guide to junk"....maybe they'll see this?
