Thanks Roadrunner. That was taken on the Saluda River that runs Through Columbia SC. It's usually only a trickle but they let some water out of the dam every now and again.

although generally calm and not showing wild white waters...we think it pretty crazy when the river rises 24 feet and gets this close to my house...take note of stop sign at intersection of side road to River Road.
This was in Great Falls, Montana in August 2011. The Missouri River is beautiful up in that area and so clean, yet small in most places.
