The second pic shows the boat launch which is just above the picnic area which got washed away.

yes it's the Missouri, it's the water running through the spillway at Ft Peck dam. the spillway is a mile long and very steep , we are about 500 yards from the bottom of it.Its only the second time the have let water has come through the spillway. The first time was on the 50th anniversary, for people to see it for twent four hours.
This summer it ran for six weeks ,fished there every day it is ten minutes from my house. The fish are catfish,drum,walleye,sauger and bass on the stringer.

That is a wild river! I live on the bank of the Clark Fork river, but it's a high enough bank that it would take a dam busting to threaten my house.
