I took this with a canon p/s years ago. I had just gotten there and turned the camera on and didn't have time to zoom.

Hope it counts as wild water.

This is the Etchemin River in Québec. The first shot is at the Domrémy Falls and shows the width of the river but the two others show the river at St-Anselme. At this point the river is only, 10' - 12' wide and does it ever get mad! I have no idea how deep that small gorge is, but in late summer you can hardly see the river from the top

Thanks Roadrunner. That was taken on the Saluda River that runs Through Columbia SC. It's usually only a trickle but they let some water out of the dam every now and again.

although generally calm and not showing wild white waters...we think it pretty crazy when the river rises 24 feet and gets this close to my house...take note of stop sign at intersection of side road to River Road.

This was in Great Falls, Montana in August 2011. The Missouri River is beautiful up in that area and so clean, yet small in most places.
