Also, Sarge, I have asked them for leytters of recommendation. They are getting them to me. I also have been setting up tables at bridal shows to maybe do brides onsite for weddings, among other things. Plus my good friend and I are making calendars where our models are cancer patients or cancer survivors and our profits go to a cancer center. So sorry if I gave the wrong impression.

The phony conflict between the so-called POOR and RICH is a manufactured situation promulgated by the current administration to re-direct attention away from its disastrous policy's. If one would take the time to notice, it is NOT the average Small Business owner that is RICH and getting richer, it is this Government's leaders, and to a great extent the entire class of Government workers that are enriching themselves at the expense of the taxpayers. Obama was a low paid Community Organizer prior to getting aboard the Federal Government gravy train. He and his wife have become multi-millionaires in the past decade, and continue on a daily basis to enrich themselves further, so the railing against the so-called Uber-Rich Businessman is totally misdirected. The average Small-Business owner is being squeezed by taxes, regulations, government mandates and inflationary wage demands to the point where many of us just capitulate and sell out if possible, or if not possible to sell, just shut it down. Follow this trend to its natural conclusion and you will find that the "OPM" which the Government depends upon will eventually dry up, and the engine driving the economy will grind to a stop. As has been said before, "Spreading the Wealth is a fine idea until you run out of other people's money". The USA was once the richest country in the world. It is no longer! We are now the worlds largest debtor that has no possibility of ever paying back its debt. When the rest of the world wakes up to that fact, there will be disastrous ramifications for its population, rich and poor alike. There are many in our country that have read the writing on the wall and decided with their feet by going ex patriot. Our government has taken notice of this trend and responded by quietly passing laws to prevent those leaving from taking their wealth with them (a la NAZI Germany in the late 30's) So much for "the Land of the Free"

Back when Ike was president a reporter asked him if he was a "millionaire".His answer was "if you are not a millionaire when you are elected, you are when you leave office".

One of the biggest problems is giving wealth to other countries for the sake of them being our allies. America not only gives foreign aid to most countries, but to 11 million people here at home, that should not be in this country, America has become soft. Eisenhower had the right idea, send back the illegals and tighten trade and forget foreign aid to all countries. Lets forget foreign aid to all for two years and let other countries fend for them selves.

The government can take as much money from the rich as they want and give it to the poor. If they did this for 20 years, the poor would still be poor. The only things that will lift the poor out of poverty are good jobs and a sound economy. Look at India and China. This is how their poor are getting to the middle class.

The American Dream is here for anyone....who wants to use their commons sense, individual Freedoms, want to work, live within their means and use their brains....that is why as was said the rich get richer and the poor stay poor, get poorer or go on the dole....

Immigrants such as the Cuban's who came in the late 50's & early 60's along with the Vietnamese who came are two good examples of those who came used their zeal for Freedoms, worked hard often several families in one small place, Educated themselves (used their brains)....and gained the American Dream....Good example go to Miami, Florida and see the success of the Cuban Immigrant and their Children...

Compare that to any Ghetto where those moaning about the rich and sitting on their duffs on the dole....

Even the a Village Idiot like me can understand that....

My life started on a tenant dirt farm with no electricity or running water......working hard, striving for an Education, obtaining College Degrees (Labor during the day, school at night), opened the door for Career opportunities, living within my means, not trying to keep up with the Jones....

I too like Sarge at age 73 owe no man....and Big Government is not my "Sugar Daddy"...

"Life has no remote control, if you don't like your life get up and change it"

that's my opin.....now crap on it if you wish..

Because the business owners pay the least they possibly can to increasse profits. I understand why business owners do this and I don't have a fundamental problem with that.

However, let's call it what it is. The working poor ARE working.

The catch 22 is that businesses want to pay as little as possible but their employees are, often times, their customers as well.
So while they're paying people so that they can't afford their products, who's buying? And how does that increase profits?

There should be a "balance" somewhere where businesses can make a "reasonable" profit (whatever that means) and people can make a living wage.

Just my opinion.

Henry Ford realized this and priced the Model T so his employees could afford them.

We have all heard the terms "socialism" and "subsidies" but we have seen very little addressed as being "parasitic".

Definition of Parasite: 1. A plant or animal living in, on, with another organism usually to its' harm. 2. One depending on another and not making adequate return.

With that said is it not representative of the uber rich and corporations activities against the poor, the working class, the sick with the Republican and conservative backing?

I think your definition is right but I think both parties are guilty.

I think Eisenhower might be the last good president we had.
