Your right but would like to know why you decided that. CAM1017's reasoning make more sense. I was actually surprised at the results especially sense I need new glasses!

Here are two new photo's with a Canon 60d and 100-400 IS lens. No converter and I used a tripod which is not normal for most of my work. The photo's are from the same file. I cropped closer on the second image. exposure was: ISO 800, F5.6 @ 1/4000 sec. Image size was 1656 x 1279 on the full moon (2.1 MP). The second was 281 x 217 (0.1 MP).

Is there any way to delete a post if you mess up or can you just edit it?

Amen to that, plus the fact that the mmon wouldn't have been there when you processed the prints. Again thanks thanks for you help.
By the way both images are the same except one was edited in bw.

Well i'm finally happy with the images. i want to thank all of you for the help and the setting data
One of the main things I learned is that hdr doesn't do a very good job..

Much better. Simetimes it take time and persistance to get what we want or are trying for. I probably deleted 50 or 60 shots, if not more, before I got those shots I first posted. Got to love digital. Could not afford the film and processing to experament this way with my old 35mm

I asked the same question. You must pm the admin and ask for it to be removed , will do, no questions. I screwed up and wish there was a delete but must go thru admin. Unless, you edit it very quickly, if you screw up , edit it asap and just type delete

Iso 200 f8 @ 100 them I aeb so I really don't know what the setting were for these images. Not as much detail as yours, but way better then when I started.
It's 5:30 am and I went to check the moon and it is in a perfect position but hidden behind clouds.
