The first two I liked the color pics better b n w. The third pic I liked the b n w best. Nice pics
It would be interesting to have the sunset in color and the boat b&w or a different color. They are all lovely.
I don't want to be a wise guy, but just think about it...
Uaually, we take images at sunrise and sunse, sometime called the "golden or magic" hours because of the golden or magic COLOR of the light... need I say anymore ?

You have caught the mood in colour superbly- why on earth
spoil it in B& w?

I took this picture last night at sunset and I thought it would make a cool b n w pic too. Curious what you guys think.
Thanks!
Both look good to me but I prefer the color ones.

Color of course to show off the sunset!!!!
I like the last 3 photos because of the reflecting water.
I really like the color. They lend just enough color but do not overwhelm the dark moodiness.
The question is impossible for me. There are some realities we can discuss, but "best" depends on viewers' sometimes whimsical preferences. Here are the main objective realities, I think. The color ones are warmer in emotion because the warm hues of the sunset catch our eye (although the reflected sky light on the boat hull is a joy). So, if you want a nice or "ooooo" response, I'd go for color. The BWs are less sensual overall, so most responders will mentally focus on the objects for the story, and perhaps appreciate the dominance of texture. YOIKS! I've managed to turn his into a mini-lecture. DeLIGHT-full work.

As good as these are they deserve color, the color completes the pictures.
