This is the flag that no parent ever wants to recieve! I am proud of his service to our country but there will always be a piece of my life missing! He only had two years to retire from the service! In Loving Memory of my son, M/Sgt Thomas A Biddle US Army

Love the pics of the flags.
Mine flys every day. I took this one one evening as I got home from work after a nasty blizzard with my P&S.

Not much makes me any more upset than to see a flag flying in complete tatters for no good reason. That is what I saw flying over this Wal-Mart store. I started by calling the store and got a succession of some rather rude people who couldn't have cared less about their flag. I demanded it be changed on the spot, was basically laughed at. It took me over an hour and finally got in touch with Wal-Mart headquarters in Bentonville Arkansas. Luckly the person there believed me when I told them that I was prepared to stay there for however long it took and would let the whole world know about this disrespectful display. An hour and forty five minutes later the flag was changed.
Not much makes me any more upset than to see a fla... (show quote)

Thank you, wrr, that's what it takes. Stay involved.

There is no "American Flag"!

Our flag is The United States Flag.

Only correct reference was from Tim W. Thanks Tim.

Check your Pledge of Allegiance.

I sold the rainbow shot to the folks in the building on the left and gave a copy of the balloon shot to the owner of the balloon.

Good for you.
Funny Balloon Photo story. I used to own a picture frame shop in No. Palm Beach, FL. A customer came in with this gorgeous photo of a balloon just above a body of water with the complete reflection of the balloon in the mirror-like water. The story behind that was, and read this carefully, it was a picture of HIS girlfriend, with HER boyfriend in the balloon. I guess he should have said his ex-girlfriend, but he didn't.
Anyhow, I bought a copy from him for $25 and it's sitting on the wall right behind me now. Great shot.

Oh, yeah...I love your pictures. I'm not partial to green, but the balloon shot was perfect timing.
Sorry for the blathering.
