Little....You're lucky, Nevada is rounding them up and getting rid of them. We keep fighting the BLM, but we always lose to some idiot judge who sides with the BLM. Many earlier ones died it holding pens. It's disgusting. I use to see them about a mile or two from my house, but haven't seen any for sometime.

Nice shots... I'll have to try up around Virginia City to see if I can find any around here.

Thanks for posting them... I think they are beautiful.

Mike

I lived in Oak Harbor 67 to 70 and at Pacific Beach from 73 to 76 and never know there were wild horses in Washington. Shame on me

if you know horses at all, you gotta love everyone of them! I would enjoy just playing around with those pictures! Had horses pretty much all my life till I remarried and discovered the caribbean. Creatures are 'creatures' above and below. Beautiful!

I see them all the time East of Reno. Take the Patrick exit of 80, go right at end of exit. Take a right after the bridge, go over Rr tracks and stay left. If you go right here you will end up at the Mustang Ranch. Stay on this road for several miles. You can see lots of separate herds at times. Often they are along the road grazing. There are ties when you won see any but the odss are youwill see some most every tie. You can get back to 80 on USA parkway also.

Agree about the BLM. Another good reason for getting our State to demand the land back from the Feds.

Going out to see the horses again this weekend and we are taking a bunch of kids from the reservation and teaching them how to use a camera. We start at 5:30Am and finish at 10PM. Going to be a long day!!!
