Last year they estimated there were 12,000 wild horses on the Yakima Indian Reservation and they are not on birth control!

Little....You're lucky, Nevada is rounding them up and getting rid of them. We keep fighting the BLM, but we always lose to some idiot judge who sides with the BLM. Many earlier ones died it holding pens. It's disgusting. I use to see them about a mile or two from my house, but haven't seen any for sometime.
Nice shots... I'll have to try up around Virginia City to see if I can find any around here.
Thanks for posting them... I think they are beautiful.

there seem to be a lot of idiot judges - tyrants in black bathrobes - that are screwing this country up these days....
I have always been a sucker for animal photos...We need as many photos as possible of all wild life before they vanish from this earth forever. Too bad that future generations...hope not...might only have photos of what they have lost .
Great shots it's nice to see horses in the wild like this...Thanx for sharing them..

I've watched it several times!
Beutiful, I live on the opposite coast and we have some wild ponies on Assateague island. I have posted a few pictures of them
A stallion and a couple of mares just down the hill. I shot this out the window of my truck. I was as surprised to see them in this spot as they were to see me .
Mustangs on the prarie!
Nice shots. Like TP, too. Beautiful horse!
We did find a few horses today close enough to get a shot or two. Most were so far out that I would have hard time getting anythig even with a 500MM lens! But there were hundreds out where we were.
Mustang mare and foals.
