Great photos, Katherine. The buffalo pic is terrific.

Some more odds and ends---I did learn a big lesson from this trip--actually learned it after I got home and went to shoot some photos at my granddaughters volleyball game the other night. I had also been to a game a few nights before the trip and had set the camera focusing to center spot to focus on her. When I went to the game after the trip I realized it was still on center spot and had been for the whole trip...why did I not think to change that to the multi focus points for my scenery shots? How dumb of me! Live and learn, now I understand why I am thinking some of them could have been sharper.

Another great group of pictures. The last one is my favorite. I love the colors and composition.
A few more from our grand adventure.

Very nice. I like the photo of the tree with the glow of light around it.

Thanks Mary. That was the last morning when I was packing my stuff in the pickup, and keeping an eye out for that damned Dennis. I looked up and watched for a minute as the moon set behind this little tree.

I got home first, so most of my posts were on the earliest pages.
Really nice Tony. I especially like the one of the Mammoth sign with the hot springs in the background; and of course the elk shot is really nice. All 3 very nice.

I am for sure, but I don't think Raymond is. I'm going to fly in this time. I'm really looking forward to it.
By the way, love the bear photo at Swan Lake.

You have some fantastic pictures. Nothing to be ashamed of here. I really like the second shot.
