Welcome Harry. Your digital has the main settings that your film camera had. ISO instead of film speed. F-stop, and shutter speed. Play with these first. If you download with "store original" we can check your camera settings and give you advise. Windows will display your settings if you click on properties. David
Thanks David - and yes it took me a while to realize that ISO = ASA.
I will remember to upload the settings. Going through a lot of where was that setting again!! I am sure that it will all come together.
Our kids grew up with the three sisters. Very nice family of educators, retired now, but still very classy people. The girls, let's just say they were all great, and uniquely different. As for the "progressive" girl, she was born into that role.
Welcome to the forum Harry. Hope you enjoy and learn from it.

Great shot of the Bear Mountain Bridge. Thanks. Did you know that the first western movie (by one of the studios in Fort Lee, NJ) was photographed along the Mine Rd? And that Sgt. Preston of the Yukon was sometimes shot on property between 9W and the river? I got this info. from Buddy Anderson, born and raised in Ft. Montgomery. Did you know that there is a bowling ally under 9W? It's part of Bev and Lynns Cafe next to the Old Oak Inn. I'll bet you know all of this but it's fun to share some of the local oddities with the rest of UHH.
Thank you all for the great welcome..
Welcome aboard. If you haven't done so already there is a book entitled "Canon EOS Rebel T3i/600D for Dummies" by Julie Adair King. You can get it on Amazon.com. I have the same camera and this book proved very useful to me.
