I 'like photography and I like general chit chat - I have my feelings about certain things and general chit chat some times gives me a safe place to share or vent even. I also have found myself being corrected and or directed to a different point of view.

Yes there is some real hate spewed here once in a while but I do not have to read those posts.

Ray....You don't get it. Jesus Christ is my Saviour, whom I love and worship. It hurts me to see Him demeaned in such a manner. Are you married? Do you love your wife? How would you feel if somebody said something terrible about your wife? Think about it. What would you do? Mohammed? He means nothing to me.

My previous post contains my feelings, Ray. I'm saying as far as I'm concerned the post was way over the line. It was ugly. How can you argue with my feelings?

I know exactly how you feel. I was encouraged to read the early responses to your post. They were full of respect and understanding. But, as usual, this thread is degenerating as certain members contribute hateful comments.
Unfortunately, there are bullies in the chit-chat section who have a strategy to insult and demean until others will simply give up and be silenced. Many reasonable members no longer contribute and now the section is a cesspool dominated by the haters.

Oh, I get it Steve. You and many others are in love with a spirit because, for whatever reason, that belief brings you comfort. I believe that there are primal psycological criteria for the ephoria that the religious claim to posess and to attribute those sensations to god's presence. I realize that your god was disrespected but to report that posting to administration was in my mind worse. People have a right to express themselves even if you disagree and it is in bad taste. Consider the source and let it go. You brought more attention to the offensive post resulting in exacerbation.

To 69% of the world's population Jesus means nothing to them similar to your attitude to Mohammed. Many Muslims believe Mohammed to be a prophet of god as you believe Jesus to be. Muslims and Mohammed get bashed on this site routinely but I have yet to read a post by anyone complaining about it and threatening to report such posts to Admin. How can you argue with those who have no feelings for Jesus just because you do? You may be wrong you know.
