I thought I could handle it.. do well.. fit in.. guess I can't .. reading the non-photography posts is ..well.. very uncomfortable because of so many people spewing hatred around... plain and simple hate.. and why?.. For the love of God I don't know.. I always for many years tried to look at the good side of things and people.. very hard to do here.. if this is what most of you people think.. I'm out .. and most of you will say Good.. get the hell out.. and there.. that proves the point I just made.. :thumbdown:

As mentioned by others, don't subscribe to the non photography sections. Therefore, when you view Newest Topics or Active Topics, you're not presented with the nonsense going on in the sections you no longer subscribe ...

Agree with the none Chit Chat commenters, Chit Chat is a sewer and a place to be avoided, hang out with the good folks who are gregarious, friendly and willing to help.

You have several assumptions in your farewell letter
1. " if this is what most of you think". The majority of the people on this forum are here because of their love of photography. They are positive, pleasant people who do not deserve to be lumped in with the minority.
2. "And most of you will say good....get the hell out". Another false assumption based on your belief we are one single group with a like mind.
Your letter should have been directed to the chit- chat forum where it belonged. To criticize the majority for the words of a few is totally unfair and shows a distinct bias on your part. You could have walked away from the chit- chat forum at any time and chose not to do so. Your problem is self inflicted.

Sorry you feel this way, but I agree there are some on here who due to their lack of respect for others less fortunate than themselves, run rough shod over others and think they can get away with it. I and a few others have had enough of this and are taking what action we can when one comes to our attention. We do this for the integrity of the site and for the genuine people out there who enjoy photography and sharing there knowledge with others for the betterment of all.

The none photography section is out of control, it seems that they can abuse the rules in this section that all others have to abide by. That being said, in doing this they are putting of people from many countries, varied walks of life etc from joining or using this forum. I for one am not perfect and amit this freely and suggest that others do the same and clean up there act. There is a place for the gutter tribe that has become the norm from some people, and this site should not be the place for it.
