You might want to visit Frank Lloyd Wright's home in Western PA and famous architectural house "Falling Water". Just Google it and you should find the info you need to go there. It may be an hour or so from Pittsburgh. Also, interesting in Pittsburgh is the Incline, which I believe goes up the mountain side of Mt. Washington. Great view of the city and rivers. Any guide info to Pittsburgh will give details. And, watch out for the crazy drivers (they are all Steelers fan, but that is no excuse)!

If you visit Fallingwater you should also see Kentuck Knob, another Wright house, which is only a few miles from Fallingwater and well worth the visit. Kentuck Knob has a sculpture garden which is interesting to photograph. You can't photograph inside either house, but outdoors is fair game.

The bridge Bigshot was talking about is probably the suspension bridge that crosses the Ohio River. It is advertised as the oldest suspension bridge in the world. You can actually walk across the bridge and take great pictures of both sides of the river. There is also the Wheeling Island Racetrack.
Wheeling is not that far from the Pittsburgh area. take Route 70 east, then Route 79 north, then 279 north right into Pittsbutrgh.
It will take you an hour also to see the Flight 93 historical site. Take 70 east, pa turnpike, exit 110

Flight 93 area has been updated for historical purposes. Make sure you take your walking shoes. You do quite a bit of walking at that site. It is quite a beautiful area. It
is not too far from where the nine coal miners were rescued too. You might look the location up on the internet. The day I was there they had a local historian take you around and explain what all happened. It was quite interesting.
