Sorry and yes I am ASAP,
Thanks for the link but for now I'm way to confused to add to it,plus the malware came back and I have to go back and forth on my phone until I can pull up ccleaner pro.

You can download CCleaner for free. It's the same program as the PRO version only without the scheduled run and automatic update feature and puts a logo for access on your home page. You still need an antivirus program and some type of firewall installed though. And don't forget about downloading Mozilla Firefox.
There are numerous blogs you can research on various infections. The best web search is probably through GOOGLE and then read how others have removed the infection.
After you get this computer up and running, be sure to burn a restore disc so you have a clean startup OS and system point in case this happens again.

Mahalo,
They sent me links to start my computer in safe network mode and one to a different version of Malwarebytes which is on its way from Amazon. It actually has not shipped yet so I'll try to change to the version they recommend.

Using phone because it's the only way to get online.I plan to try ComboFix or CCCleaner to eliminate malware problem, then install Malwarebytes which many people have said will hunt down malware/virus and set to scan as often as possible.I'll then install Kaspersky or AVG or Avast as my anti-spyware.Leaning toward AVG.Most people don't have my money problems sotthey can suggest whatever they want but I can afford only so much.

My suggestions were ALL FREE. I am frugal but demanding and that threesome that I suggested is the same one most of my clients use, and it keeps computers clean as anything I have ever used.

One of the things that causes constant hardware/software conflict is jumping from product to product, using some products without taking others off. One of the biggest conflicts is caused by two antivirus programs battling for viruses in the same territory (computer).

On that list you rolled out I see two that I have tried and ruled out as troublemakers.

The three I listed work for free and are reliable and efficient.

Furthermore, two of the products you listed infiltrate your computer so heavily on installation that you can't simply remove them in the Control Panel.

Three that I know of where you need their own "removal tool" downloaded from their web site are:
McAfee
Norton
Kapersky

There are others. If you try to remove those three products just using the removal in Control Panel, they will leave remnants that will fight most new products you try to install. I have even had to use the downloaded Kapersky "removal tool" to remove the installed Kapersky product before a new Kapersky product can be upgraded.

That occasionally happens with Norton, and McAffee is documented to kill your internet connectivity with some of their updates. They usually catch/fix it in about a week, after you've been OFF the internet until it's fixed.

Been there and seen/dealt with all of these problems folks.

That's one reason why the geeks and nerds usually spend one weekend a year downloading all their personal files, and reformatting and reloading their OS and all programs.

Your stable can only get so full of cowshit before you have to bring in a tractor and haul all that crap out. Same with your computer.

LOL. The OP will (willingly or unwillingly) eventually do what I initially recommended in the first thread he/she posted about this problem in "Fix Me Stick". In the meantime, it's all good info.

Paid for it years ago and am VERY happy. I also use, in conjunction, Super Anti Spyware ($30), MS Security Essentials (free)and Avast (free) Anti Virus. All play happily together and are employed on over 10 computers in the network. Haven't had an issue for over 4 years.

I have many friends that, for what ever reason, always go to the middleman for purchasing goods. Sometimes they get what they want, sometimes more than they wanted and sometimes the wrong version.

Why do they not go to the manufacturer direct and get exactly what they want and get the latest version. Not to mention not paying the middleman fees. (whether that be cash or advertising jammed down their throats)

Now with regard to Malware AntiBytes (and some others) take the free copy and you can be assured that they will contact you before the expiry with a "special offer"

I also never order the boxed cd and always choose the download so I have it within minutes. If I really need the software on CD I can burn it myself and also include many other programs as well all on one cd. (or a thumb drive)

I have yet to discover the benefit of having a box. Just saying...
