well I'm sorry Pixchuck but I agree with RMM. I too would have tried and I emphasise 'tried' reducing the exposure a little - just to see the effect. Frankly why post a photo on a forum and then get upset at someone trying to help?

These are right out of the camera, i.e. no PP. More examples of God's creation.

PIXChuck and RMM let's bring this down a bit because you're both are headed in the right direction. PIXChuck, I believe that things of nature are the most wonderful to photograph because Heavenly Father made the colors so beautiful. I also believe that RMM's comment is helpful because you will, one day, be in a situation where you can't capture something exactly as you see it and his advice will come in handy.

Ok...a colored plant....I think
I feel like the kid in the playground who was the last to get caught and whipped up on. All I was attempting to relay was the subject required no comment. In fact there seem to be more who love color than dislike me!......C

I don't think anybody dislikes you on this site.

Yea, the roses were taken on the federal Christmas holiday rather than the real one (i.e. the 26th) while the cactus blossom was from a week or so before.

If I was taking pics of colorful flowers and Titeld it "Color, as only nature can produce" I myself would slightly overexpose just to bring out the color.
most of us that post here becasue we wish good feed back, the comment was just a suggestion,,nothing more,,no need to get upset,,keep shooting, your shots are great

Oddly enough, my experience with both film and digital is that slight under exposure gives greater saturation "to bring out the color." YMMV, but below is an example.

Yikes....everyone take a deep breath and chillax! The purpose of the forum (for most people) is to get feedback. However, people can be kind and tactful in the way they make a critique...I love the colors in the coleus..startling...I tend to overexpose anyway..lol...but no need to get our feelers hurt here....gentlemen...shake hands and go to your rooms.

Seems that you asked and God DID provide with you with some wonderful subjects AND gave you the skills to get these superb photographs.
Well done and thanks for sharing them with us.
