Oh yeah - it's called practice. And I usually delete after I've figured out what I did or didn't do because I have so many images!

Me, too!

Page 2 - Amy your sky is spectacular and the depth of colour in the dahlia is so rich :-) I wish I could get my colours to "pop" straight out of the camera

Here you go. Won't be doing much picture taking this weekend I don't think. It's very hot and humid and I don't do either too well. I think I'll just enjoy the football and tennis on tv!

If I can find my nail picture, Dane it should go with yours on pg. 1. All of these are from archives.

Old nails left from a wind blown down fence.

Amy, Amy, Amy! Great shots - love them all! How are you mending? You probably need to be resting anyway ~ (pg. 2)

Thanks, MG. Well, the hip and knee are decent; the back not so much. I can walk some without the back killing me(I did say I fell down the back porch steps?), but not far. And it hurts to swiffer the floors-which isn't a bad thing, i suppose! lol  But all are getting better, slowly but surely. Thanks for the concern!

Thank you so much Pat :-) I did get a lot of funny looks, but mostly people just laughed! It was too good an opportunity to miss :-)

p1 These are precious! Great composition and the captured joy on all faces. I would get soaked just to get something like this too.

Thank much, Sheenagh! It comes from camera adjustments and lighting. Check your manual.

A few highlights unedited from a quick walk around my yard.
first:Mountain ash berries;secondly: a blue Morning Glory with pink edging... go figure? and the last, a dome of clouds over my back yard. It is so difficult not to edit this one!

JacLee thank you for your lovely kind comments and generosity :-)

pg. 1: Sheenagh, love your pictures. You and your dogs look like you are having a lot of fun. Sorry, I just reread what you wrote. Your neice is playing with the dogs, whoops, "furbabies". Neice is very pretty. Love, joy, and fun really show in your pictures.

Mary,  If I were to make a choice I would choose #2 and 3, but all are very nice.

Dane, sure like your tree knot.

Nan, #1 is very pretty. Nice color contrast.

Great challenge. I haven't been out much to shoot since school started, but managed to take a few pics in the backyard of some overgrown weeds on the hillside.
