What amazes me about non believers is the animosity and even hate they have for believers whom they say tell them they are going to go to Hell if they don't believe. Why such strong feelings? If they really don't believe in Jesus then it should be no different than if they were told they would turn into a marshmellow tomorrow. If the Bibles words are the truth - every word true and meaning what it says. Just why is it when I point out a terrible act the Bible calls for - cutting of the sinful hand - plucking out the sinful eye - I am told ' Oh it don't really mean that - you have to understand _Bla Bla Bla - more double talk. These supposed intelligent "inspired" people are way off base when it comes to logical direction and guiding.
It would seem there would be a second book to accompany the "Babble" to properly interpreter these harmful Biblical directions as well as explaining the meaning of the Fairy Tails - the Ark, The Big fish(Whale),Pillar of salt, parting the Red Sea, Heaven & Hell.

I have no hate for the believers on the contrary I feel sorry for them that they have been duped by the folks who have lead them to their belief of this centuries old book of fairy tails and BS - yes there is some very good thoughts and directions on leading a good life and I like that part. When it comes to threatening me with untold horrors "If I Don't Turn Myself Completely Over To God" then that my friend is EXTORTION -

I don't know much about non believers attacking believers other than with words, but history is full of events of believers from ANY religion torturing and burning alive the non-believers. In the Western World non-believers were called heretics and burnt at he stake to give them a preview of their eternal burning in hell. Frankly, I would prefer a little verbal animosity as response to a difference in opinions. I guess it is a matter of tastes.
