Thank you ladyg:
I did that in gimp software and it's free by the way. I was
just fooling around and seeing what all the software would
do ,still dont know a lot about it yet.photonut

Thanks!...Going to try this for sure. I'm new on Hedgehog and I have a Nikon CoolPix L120 that I just purchased. Still trying to get used to this camera and was wondering if it is a good purchase. I can't afford some of the cameras that are used by photographers on this site but I love to take photos and this camera is sort of my first big one. Here are a few of my shots.

Ladyg Im not one to ask about camera's I have two canon
rebels and a fujifilm finepix camera, the finepix is the
one I use most of the time,I have to change len's on the
two canons one a 35to70 and 70 to 300 with a 2x extender
that takes it up to a 600 mm. the finepix one lens 28
wide angle up to 600 with just a flip of a button and I
get better picture's with It,im not out to take pro photos
just good one's to please my self no one else, besides you
can't please everyone they all have different eye's. if you
like your picture's then they are just right. The first photo
I like the other two are a little out of focus but not bad
stay at it it takes time, keep your photos coming .photonut

Thanks Photonut...still trying to get pics in focus. I really need a tipod, but if I had to set up a tripod for every shoot, I would loose the true beauty of the photo. Usually something catches the eye and it is in that moment that you need to shoot your picture. Thanks for the comments. I love taking pics of the moon...and that seems to be the hardest subject, but I don't do to bad. Ladyg

ladyg,I have image stablizer on my camera that prevents
camera shake,a tripod is a must for moon shot's if you
ust a zoom lens.your shots are good and the spider hanging
up in the photo would make you take a second look. and
you are right, you cant take a tripod with you all the time,
you do the best you can and hope for the best, and who want's
to take perfect photo's all the time, that would take all the fun
out of it.three of my photos thatI like. photonut.

Ladyg this is a little different moon shot,Ihave a tripod
but not with this shot,it's hard to hold it steady when
you zoom out,and would have been sharper if on a
tripod
