Bmac, since you are one of my more articulate and intelligent detractors, I will respond to you. (I have been considering just ignoring a lot of the idiots on this forum.)
1. I am sure MSNBC will have a long life. Its audience is growing. as for your getting a thrill up[ your leg whenever Sharpton speaks, all I can say is, "Whatever floats your boat."
2. The juxtaposition of Rush and Faux News may have implied that he is on Faux News. I didn't mean to imply that he is.
3. I do not care for bigots and liars like Rush, and feel free to insult them in any way I can. You may be more mature and more s[iritually-developed than I am, but Rush is a hate monger against minorities and women. He continually lies. His record of lying speaks for itself. I feel free to insult him any way I can.
4. Are you trying to lay some kind of guilt trip on me about obesity and minorities because I have insulted Rush ? Doesn't work, won't work, so don't even bother. Save your breath and your typing fingers.
[quote=Bmac]Not sure where you get this info Richard but good luck on MSNBC living a long life. Hope you are right, as I get a thrill up my leg when the Reverend speaks.
By the way, not positive, but I don't think Limbaugh is even on Fox News. Surprised you comment on folks physical appearance with derogatory terms, I thought you were more caring, especially since there is a high prevalence of obesity among minorities.
Special Issues Regarding Obesity in Minority Populations
"Special attention must be given to obesity as it occurs in and affects ethnic minorities (that is, black Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian and Pacific Islander Americans, American Indians and Alaska Natives, and Native Hawaiians) in the United States. In most of these groups, the prevalence of obesity is substantially higher than in whites, especially among women. Poverty and lower educational attainment, which are associated with higher than average rates of female obesity (independent of ethnicity), affect proportionately more persons in these minority populations than in white populations."
