I do have life. Apparently you are the one suffering from lack of one.
I just asked you a question with respect and you turned into an idiot. Crawl back into your hole and suck on some more booze.

He didn't say he didn't like the thread, nor did he say he owned it, he simply politely asked you a couple of questions. No need to overreact, sheesh.

One last comment, here is a thread discussing whether the royal baby is news or not and it's going on four pages long. Looks like it's news to us as to whether it's news or not! Ah, the irony of it all! :-D

Not everybody in Britain likes the Royal family. What your are seeing is all the hype stirred up by the media to sell TV rights and newspapers. Myself I can take or leave them. What I don't like is the head of our government Mr Cameron standing up on the news saying it's cheering the people of the nation up. If he wants to cheer up the British people then stop them losing jobs and houses. Get the economy going again, instead of allowing big business and the Royal Family to skip paying taxes etc etc. This royal baby is just a side show.

"...a raft of recent studies has found the United States to be a less upwardly mobile society than many comparable nations, particularly for men. One survey reported that 42 percent of American boys raised in the bottom fifth of income stayed there as adults. For Britain, the numbers were better by 30 percent. Just 8 percent of American men made the jump from the lowest fifth to the highest fifth, compared to 12 percent for the Brits.
*********
ItÂ’s painful to read that Britain, much of Western Europe, and Canada are becoming more socially and economically fluid while the United States hardens its class arteries."

The case can, and has been made, that class divisions are more severe in the USA (rememeber the 99%?; or the top 2%?; or Romney's 47%?)than in UK, with its historic aristocracy. The economic and educational divide between the poor and the rich in our country is getting wider, while shrinking in the so-called monarchical governments. Some poor saps in the middle class have even been convinced this is good for them, and they should celebrate the selfishness of the wealthy.
By the way, the "Windsors" return much more in tourism and trinket dollars (or pounds) than they cost.
And lastly, the Windsor-Saxe-Coburg-Gotha-Battenberg dynasty has a legitimate claim to the throne, tracing themselves back to William of Orange, who was given the crown because (horrors!) the progenitor would have been Catholic!! And besides, he killed a bunch of Irish on the way which put him in solid.

Buy am I fed up with hearing about the Royal baby.

They come from money backgrounds, pampered, best medical help, never wanting for anything, don't pay business tax, and there are carers of the disabled, disabled, elderly who are starving

In reality, Christ, they are not even the rightful people/family on the throne of England

I'm with you, did they give a shxx 33 years ago when my son was born, no. I'm glad everything went OK the same as I am for any other child that's born.

IT'S happened now lets get on with the rest of our lives. Unless they want to have a bank holiday.

Your photo is in bad taste...you wouldn't like someone posting that if it were your own child or grandchild. You don't like the royals and that's fine but your sense of humor is down, dirty and gross.

Wassn't it about 9 months ago when someone snapped a picture of her naked on that balcony?

That date is now a British National Holiday called "Conception Day". LOL.

May I suggest a name for this incumbant heir to the throne? If he takes after HARRY, maybe the name "LANCALOT" is appropriate, but not for his jousting skills. LOL.

You just swapped the Royals for a President which in the reality of todays climate isn't that much different. Having worked with the Presidential Security Team I would suggest that the running costs of your Presidency is marginally more than the cost of our Royal Family. America I'm sorry to say does have a fairly well defined class system whether you acknowledge it or not, although yours is based on current financial wealth and ours is based mainly on historical positioning. I'm not saying either is right or wrong, but given the choice between President Tony Blair and our current Queen my choice is the status quo.
You just swapped the Royals for a President which ... (show quote)

You have a point, the guy in the white house sure seems to think he is royalty, he act that way too.

I thought it was a hoot, and didn't offend my in any way.
I don't think his sense of humor is any worse than your attitude.

Too bad we didn't think of that a few years ago.
