Hiya Karl (that's my middle name too lol)
I kinda meant close up rather than macro, but as always typed words my brain wasn't thinking :)
Using the self timer can help reduce hand held shake, as well as setting for multiple shots on a single shutter press. Driving a nail into the ground through the camera, avoiding the...oh, that's only after frustration, sorry personal issues.
