Thank you vtmikey.
I'll just use this post of your to drop in a few more versions I've cooked up of this image.
I'd be interested if anyone has the time to let me know which they feel works best.
The 3rd one is best. The forth looks like a close up of the 3rd. Amazing what you can do with PP.

Cheers all.
Think it is more a matter of personal taste rather than one is technically better than the other.
Was just interested to find out if you folks were all seeing one particular version more appealing than the rest.
Thanks again for commenting √
Well done. Especially like the 1st one.

Had a play with one of the shots I took of this street guy I shot last week.
Played around with a few versions of which these I thought worked best.
I expect many will be horrified with results.

Thank you Dixiegirl.
Looks like a few others who've commented like the first too.
Cheers √
h2, I agree its just personal taste, whether one prefers color over monochrome, close up or showing more environment, because its all about those eyes! What a story in them. So much life lived. would love to know his story!

Hi carlysue.
Just came across the guy in the street and he didn't speak a word of English, so his life story will have to remain a mystery.
Cheers.
Don't know much about this type of work yet, I like it yet I don't like it. I guess that I prefer the more Natural look. But, what do I know? What ever Sells. Keep up the good work. Perhaps I will try this myself someday.

But, what do I know?
No doubt just as much as the rest of us ... your advantage is you know you don't know
Cheers Audie - Thanks for dropping in.
I love #1. It almost looks like an oil painting.

He came over for a special sitting.
Had a manicure and trim especially for the occasion.
