I too love flowers and use the photos for our screen saver.
I have collected many from this site and they are all beautiful.
Here are three I have taken, a hibiscus, some nasturtiums and a rose.
All from our garden.
Keep posting, they are all great.

I brought the Purple Queen from my dad's house after he passed away in 1989 so I'd have part of his yard in mine

Horseart, your have done yourself proud on your first thread! I also loved your blue eyed dog peeking through the flowers!

NikonJohn......Dutchmans Breeches!!! OMG, you just took me back to my childhood with those. We had some that grew wild in the woods of our yard. My mom always told me they were very rare, I haven't seen or heard of them since then! THANKS!

Love them both, but 2nd one is my fav. Are these the Tropical WLs?

Actually not. It is called Texas Dawn. They were shot in bright daylight but I created the night effect with a super high shutter speed, medium aperture and flash. This created the black backround and the yellow reflection lighted the pad. I enjoy messing around with shutter speeds to create different backgrounds.
