I hate to start my first thread. NOTHING has ever intimidated me before, but you guys with your wonderful photographs, that's a different story! You may want to run me off after you see some of mine, but I'm STAYING!!! if I were to go, I'd miss seeing your fabulous works of art!!!

This pink rose is one of those miniatures you get in a tiny 3 inch pot at Walmart. It was dying in the house, so I put it in the ground 10 years ago. It survives our winters very well and would get 10 feet tall if I didn't trim it back now and then.

I gotta say, I like the perspective and the crop on the 1st Calla Lily photo. I wouldnt have thought to shoot them from above but it works and its different than we're used to seeing them.

Thank you so much, but my thumb is a very PALE shade of green and no, they are not volunteers. I break my silly back taking care of them until late summer. Then I put up a little garden sign that says "Welcome to my weed garden".

Beautiful Orchids. The first one has nice lighting and clarity, the second one is my favorite though for the beauty of the flower and the color.
