I want to thank you all for lookingand commenting on my new furbabies. Thay are all doing wonderful. I was worried about one of my little boys but he is doing well. Mom has finally decided to settle down and take care of them. They are a lot of work but they are so much fun. I'll try not to bore all of you with to many pictures.

[quote=wonkytripod]Congratulations. In 1978 one of my foxhound bitches had 21 puppies all survived but 3 weeks of 2 hourly bottle feeding and swapping on and off the bitch was a nightmare but ultimately rewarding. Keep posting their progress   [/

Wonkytripod, I can't Imagine taking care of 21 puppies!!!!!! I have had to raise a litter before but there were only 7. Every time someone would come and visit I would shove a bottle in their hands to feed a puppy. Thank goodness I have a great family and friends.

After being on puppywatch for the last 3 days my baby pugs were born. They are born very dark and will lighten up as they get older. Mommy is taking a much need nap, babies are nursing and I am having a glass of wine. It is amazing how much they will change over the the next eight weeks.

OK, I've made a special folder for the "puppywatch". Now I gotta go get a bottle of wine and I'm all set.

Touche !
Saw your earlier / post . Condolences... it's a lot we choose to live in when we take over the stewardship of one who has a shorter lifespan than ourselves...and we do it again and again, and do it gratefully. Press on !
So many nights i hear a movement and it's not my Dalmatian who passed away five years ago.
Hold them dear, yet, press on.
