Don't be embarrased. I have seen it spelled that other way also. Here in North East Nevada is is called "pogo nip". I believe that is a native American expression. No matter what it is called, when you get up in the AM and the sun is shining through it, It takes my breath away.

I wanna thank all of you who have dropped in to check out my photos. You all have been so nice to me.... it gives me that warm welcome feelin'. I'm so thankful for finding UHH and all the wonderful people on here.... oh by the way ~ I love to smile, laugh and have some fun as well. I will admit, my photos are much better than my spelling. Have a Fabulou Friday!

What I enjoy most about these photos is the emotion they invoke for me, which is wishing I was outside right now looking at that frost!

I enjoyed your photos. A reminder to me that I enjoy visiting the beauty of the snow but I'm glad I don't live in it full time.

Something that would have been really great for the photos is a red sunrise. We had a heavy fog that froze while it was still dark where I live one time, and then we had a very red sunrise. It looked like neon lava on the bare trees. I can only imagine what the hoary frost would look like in that circumstance.

Sometimes I don't think that photos does the great outdoors justice. Ya gust gotta be there to see it for yourself. It's amazing of all the creations the weather can bring. I have never seen a horror frost so beautiful as this one. On the day that I captured these photos the beauty was so overwhelming that I had to make a trip back into town and get my sister in law and take her out to see the beauty that was created. This was her first road trippin' with me "thebarbwiregirl". She was totally amazed and even got some awesome photos. Hope ya like them....

I'm just overwhelmed by all the wonderful people out here on UHH. I know I have found the right place to show off what God has shared with me in my travels in life..... and hope with each day to come will come a new image of beauty to share with the world.

Thanks again everyone and please come back again.

That second shot should be blown up as big as you can get it and hung on your wall. Beautiful
