Hocking Hills last fall. Shot taken with a Kodak Z981 bridge camera...hand held at 1/13 F4.5 and focused to 22.4mm. Hopefully this fall with a dslr maybe work a little better.
...for my taste, the blue spoiled otherwise nice shots...
This is my latest attempt, any comments and constructive critiques are welcome!

...either forgot to change WB from 'fluorescent' to 'auto'/'shade' or the abundance of cyan/blue was caused by a linear polarizer(?)...
In my experience, the source of the blue is often the light. In higher elevations, (at least here in Oregon) I have noticed that the whites pick up a blue cast from the sky. Seems more so with longer exposures. So I have a pre-set WB saved in my D300 for these occasions. Of course there is PP-- but I personally enjoy the outside part of photography way more than "computer work" . Just me: I do that 9-10 hours a day.
Here's one I took last year.

Concur. I wish to complement the white balance on this shot. So many are too blue.....
