I'd say you have the "feel" exactly right CW. Beautiful shots.

Great Pictures Carolina Wing. I love them all. Your off to a great start with your new camera. Have fun with it.
We had a pair of Blue Bird build a nest about 20 yards from our house. I posted pictures in the thread "Blue Bird Surprise" on 4/11. Anyway I have not seem the female for about 2 weeks now. I think she may have been taken out because the male just hangs around flying at the window most of the day. I checked the nest and it has eggs, but no sign of the female. Sad!!!
Great Pictures Carolina Wing. I love them all. Y... (show quote)

Thanks dggeiser...really appreciate that! I had Bluebirds nest in my yard one year and something happened to the female after the babies were in there and the male brought other Bluebirds to help him feed the babies. That was an amazing thing to see!

Very nice set of photos. I like that last one. It looks like he's being shot out of a cannon.

Thank you Ralloh...he really did come out of there like he was shot out of a cannon...I often wander how they build up that much momentum!
