Stunning indeed ! here in upstate ( above Albany ) new york and all the apartments/ businesses going up its becoming next to impossible to get a good dark night . I usually have to travel an hour + to get someplace dark enough but still , nothing like this ! Thanks for sharing .

Beautiful photograph. I don't mean to through water on the pic, but I don't believe it is a meteor, the beginning and end of the trail are way too sharop and not decreasing in intensity and size as meteors do, also wrong color. This looks like a satellite trail, albiet a nice bright one, still very, very good pic and well composed.

I can only dream of taking shots like this, i like this one a lot the way the colors pull me to the sky and the cabin, Beautiful, i would be hard pressed to determine the main focus of the pic, whether it be the sky or cabin, viewers choice i guess

Wow! Whatta shot! I love the city lights (?) on the horizon just to the left of the building. What is the horizontal trail above and to the right of the building...maybe an aircraft?
