Occupaion: Retired Fire Inspector Interests: Astronomy, art, entymology(insects), collecting meteorites, ancient coins Biography: Married with 5 kids, 7 grand kids. Retired from Cobb County Fire Department, Georgia as an Inspector.
Have made several discoveries in astronomy (all by photography). Discovered Supernova 1994i on April 1, 1994, discovered Fragment B that broke off from Periodic Comet Machholz 2, and one Main Belt asteroid. Currently have over two thousand images posted on Bug Guide (

Been into photography for more years than I care to remember.
I also collect meteorites as well as ancient coins (Greek, Roman and Medieval). And last but not least, I supplement my income with my artwork.
I use a Canon T2i with kit lens and also have a 70-300mm telephoto. I do not have a macro lens but use an Opteka 58mm 10x screw in so called macro. It works (see Bug Guide photos), but hope to someday get a true macro. Website: not set
