I use ACI: www.acilab.com

As wahawk indicated, some of the best professionals in the country use them.
Another great lab is Bay Photo.

I do think your images are a bit dark, but that is your call.

I will look at them both thank you. I think they are a bit dark to I am still learning. When the spring flowers and trees come out I would like to try again with what i have learned.

I use PE PHOTO. I would look at some of the stores that have photo services in your area and see what differant finishes they have and then order a 4x6 of the ones you are interested in and go from there. I don't know who made a rule that portrats had to be super sharp. I have a soft portrat lens and diffusers to get a soft look in some of my portrats. Look at the ones from the 30's. I would go with #1 Just my not so humble opinion. - Dave

Thank you for comment, I will try that.

Maybe try using the on camera flash with diffuser at reduced power to lighten the subject but not the background.

I have taken my daughters senior pictures and was wondering were would be the best place to have them printed? Please let me know what you think, my daughter has done the pp on them.

suggestion......The way she is facing, i would say take a white card and hold it just out of camera view, so that the right side of her face gets a soft light. It would snap her face even more.

That looks so much better! What program did you use?? PS My daughter loves the adjustment as well.

I just used PSExpress on my iPad. It took less than a minute. I'm sorry, but I no longer have either picture any longer. If I download another member's picture to alter or adjust it, I always delete all copies when I'm through; after all, they aren't my pictures. But you can make the same adjustments very easily in PSE or almost any other editor.

Your poses aren't too bad. I did a little work on the first one. You can PM me and tell me what you think.
