The first photograph is an excellent portrait. I cannot help you with processing in the USA, but there is a good place in Manchester UK, sorry.

They look a little too soft for good prints to me. Gaussian blur?

I really like all 3, but the pose is #1 is the one I prefer but the focus is a bit soft. #3 is a great pose and VERY sharp where it needs to be, this would make an awesome enlargement!!

I use PE PHOTO. I would look at some of the stores that have photo services in your area and see what differant finishes they have and then order a 4x6 of the ones you are interested in and go from there. I don't know who made a rule that portrats had to be super sharp. I have a soft portrat lens and diffusers to get a soft look in some of my portrats. Look at the ones from the 30's. I would go with #1 Just my not so humble opinion. - Dave

I like #1 but feel there is not enough separation in brightness and contrast between your daughter and the background, therefore too soft. I LOVE everything about #2 EXCEPT the angle that it was shot at. I feel that this is not a very flattering pose for her. #3 I really like but would like to see a little more light on her face to bring out the beauty of the eyes.

I use ACI: www.acilab.com

As wahawk indicated, some of the best professionals in the country use them.
Another great lab is Bay Photo.

I do think your images are a bit dark, but that is your call.

Just a quick adjustment - maybe too much.
