I like it and there is a lot of interest in tree shots, check out the "Tree" thread. Might want to add it to that.

I love Live Oaks. Their branches go everywhere. Nice shot.

Interesting composition. The central path leading directly to the subject in the middle of the picture. Another example of ignoring the rules and getting the desired result.
It would be interesting to note what others have to say about the composition.

I think the composition works also. I think it would be even better if more of the tree had been included.

Yes, I take pictures of trees too. Your tree is fascinating with it arms spreading over all.

You have a picture of a very interesting tree. I too have taken pictures because I find a tree interesting. Here is one I took last summer.

Trees are interesting. Variations in function, form, beauty, adaptation. I found this tree to be interesting as it survives in precarious circumstances.

I find most of the interest on the right 2/3 of the picture, and my eye keeps wandering over to the left, looking for something, and not finding. Otherwise, great picture. I like the way you have included the path leading us to the tree.

Here is a picture of a 2000 year old live oak in Ormond Beach Florida, that I found myself mystified with how it grew into the ground and back out!

Wow, 2000 years old. How could anyone figure out that a tree is that old? There are no rings to count on a living tree.
