Sorry so long...there are other ways of doing this too and other software to resize and crop, but if you are limited to or just want to use paint, then it works just fine..

Thank you for this info, Im going to try this for sure

You're welcome! I might add...using this process, you don't have to crop at all if you don't want anything taken out of your picture...

Now, I have another question for you, I've been hearing about cropping in camera, is that possible?

crop in camera means placing your self, zoom lens in a position that everything you see in the view finder you will want to include in the picture. This is a good method to use so that very little needs to be crop in pp. A great deal of people do not use this because they are to lazy to move closer to subject. Another thing to keep in mind is not all view finders show exactly what will be recorded. If you look at the spec about your camera it can tell you if the viewfinder shows 100% of the recorded image

Bay Photo give you the option of not cropping or lets you move the crop so you can include all all details

Let me start off with that I dont own a photo printer so I have to rely on getting my prints done elsewhere. I've tried many photo processing places and I've noticed that a lot of them tend to crop photos to fit the specific size of print you want. My problem with that is, sometimes important parts of a photo get cropped out which ruins the pic. (scalped heads, amputated limbs, etc..) I thought the answer to my solutions was MPIX, with their various sizes other than the standard. But to no avail. Is there something I can do in pp that would aide in this situation? Our any other recommended printing places...Thanks in advance

When you order from MPIX they give you the option of choosing the crop you want on each image submitted, you just have to select it in the order process. When you do a thumbnail of your image will popup with a red outline placed on it where they think the crop should go, simply click and drag that frame to where YOU want it and move on to the next image. Simple, but you have to click the crop box or they will crop it however they see fit, and that is often the opposite of how you might want to crop it.
