OK, so you don't like controversial, so here's a straight shot.

Not to pile on controversy but she looks pretty 'glam' to me.

The WB and sat may have more to do with the teeth than reality - I'll bet if she was gushing at me in a bar I'd never notice her teeth shades. (BTW dentists have colour charts so fillings can be matched to your tooth colour - a very brod range indeed)

Look at the fake 'ermine' it is very off white; a little post process could fix all this, probably.

The background looks like a screen drop, if she was in a store, for instance, it may have been a clouds screen on a roll. So what? That was the scene he shot, no problem.

My only true gripe is that the balloon - on it's way to being a toy animal no doubt - is almost lost off frame; pity, since the rest of the composition is top drawer.

Hi Chriswip, Please dont stop producing work that draws diverse and sometimes questionable comments. I feel its a credit to the quality of your work that your posting has caused such debate. For me I remain indifferent, but like other interesting and challenging work that is posted on this site, i keep going back to it because it is interesting and different and worthy of every comment that has been made so far. I would be very proud of such work.

Edit: Just read the previous couple of posts. Glad to see everyone getting along. That is interesting about the alleged American obsession concerning white teeth. I do wish to point out, however, that JR1 was the poster who originally mentioned yellow teeth. So perhaps it isn't much of a cultural difference after all. :D

You are quite right, I had missed that reply

Attention each and all.

I have just been contacted by a friend who has pointed out the American phobia on Non-white teeth. I was not aware of this and so if my posting has offended anyone please accept my apologies.

I have learned something which in future I will bear in mind and now understand the previous remarks were not meant in the context that they were received.

Oh well, if there is a phobia, I'm in trouble. I'm not a movie star, don't want to be one and certainly won't spend hard earned money on whitening teeth. Especially porcelain or the real ones I have left.

I like the picture and the model. Life-Like is my thought.

I like you other posts far more. This is kind of boring and cliche. Your other are posts and are well thought out. The problem is that so called "photographers" do not of or understand Art. For some reason today's photographers are disconnected from the Art world even though photography is Art and shares many things with the other mediums.

Many, many Thanks, I had tried to meet the majority halfway but its seems to have backfired. I will go back to posting what I like. I don't think the vast majority will appreciate any of it and certainly won't understand it. I now consider this post dead.

Why do care what they think? Most of my artwork is produced with film. This forum certainly is not film friendly.

Everyone has their own vision of what makes a good photo. I liked your posting. You indicated that you had done very little PP on this photo. Many of the comments are from those who would like to see more out of camera work done

If you are happy with the photo, then just take the comments at face value and keep them in mind in your future pictures. That is how we each get better.

I like it. She's pretty, cute outfit but I do think it would be good to include a completed balloon animal or cut out the piece of one, as it's hard to figure out what it is if you don't know. I think his point "to each his own" sums it up. You can discard his remarks or take them in, up to you. He can like the pic or ignore it. Same difference.
