I normally like color but this B&W is more dramatic.

Wow. That's a hard choice. I really love a good B&W and this one hits all the marks. But the color one grabs my eye as well. Both shots are beautiful but I think I'm going with the color one on this. I think the only reason I'm choosing color is because that is the one I first saw.
Beautiful job on both.

Photographed at the Franklin Park Conservatory in Colombus, Ohio. In your opinion, which, if either, photo do you prefer? Color or B&W?

Stats are: ISO 800, 35mm, f/13, 1/750 sec

I have no idea why I took this shot at such a high ISO. Best guess is that I had been shooting indoors and did not change it when I went outside. Oh well.

Any additional critique or comments welcomed. 8-)

Nice composition Bmac. I usually prefer color but in this instance I feel the B/W wins out as more striking.

You'd think that with colors all over me at the end of most days, I'd love B&W best, but it's almost always colors that I love.

Cannot choose. Both can stand on their own. Lucky you having a blue sky in the winter here. Mostly its various shades of gray.Like the composition of both.

Like 'em both, but this time my vote goes to the B/W. You have a science fiction-style building, works better with the starker black and white.

I think the black and white shows more character.
