Photographed at the Franklin Park Conservatory in Colombus, Ohio. In your opinion, which, if either, photo do you prefer? Color or B&W?

Stats are: ISO 800, 35mm, f/13, 1/750 sec

I have no idea why I took this shot at such a high ISO. Best guess is that I had been shooting indoors and did not change it when I went outside. Oh well.

Any additional critique or comments welcomed. 8-)

Tough to make a choice. I think I like the B&W shot better. I think the image looks better with the contrast that is inherent in Black and White. At first I thought there was a real lot of noise; but when I looked closer at the blown up version, it seems to be condensation on the inside of the glass or something. So thank you for posting with the download activated. I do think I like the Black and White version.

In my opinion in this case the color picture is better.

Thanks for your detailed comments Ebrunner. I think at some point I might increase the contrast and saturation on the color version, perhaps that will give it some impact....perhaps not. :-D

I prefer the B&W. The angle you shot this adds to the character B&W sometimes brings. There might be noise in the sky but I have to say it gives me the feeling of a good HDR.

Wow this is a tough choice you have given us. When I first opened page the color is what grabbed my attention love the shades Of blue reflected in glass. The b/ w is really nice also and I love b/w but this time the color has it for me.
Great shot Bmac.

Though either shot is strong in my opinion...I think that the color one is better.
