I hope I have done everything correctly to get this topic posted. If I have, there should be three photos, one of my dog and two of three trees in a field. I want to enter one of them into a photography competition and would like your opinion as to which one I should enter. Thank you.
I like #2 the best. I would also try B&W of that one as well as a soft vignette. if you go with color i would desaturate the foreground a little but leave the sky as punched as it is now. I would like to see B&W with a soft vignette and a green filter applied. Nicely done. ACE

I see 3 now. What kind of competition as there are 2 completely different subjects?
Baz
It's a completely open subject - one entry per person. The competition entry reads: Celebrating the creativity of people with Parkinson's.

If you want the tree one it should be #2. However, the dog one is a very POWERFUL image. (Saddened by the recent loss of his master, Rover sat on the dew drenched soccer field reflecting the many times they had played for hours before heading home. The dreary day reflected how Rover felt inside, no rays of sunshine today....) This pic can go many places....just my thought!
I guess it all comes down to taste. I love #3 despite some technical imperfections.
I personally do no like either of the other 2 nearly as much. For me, there is too much sky, wrong time of day, in # 2 you needed to wait for the clouds to be better, the lines look artificial. Neither one or two is competition standard in my view, whereas 3 has real pathos.
Then again, I love pets and find landscapes mostly boring.
Despite my comments, great photos.
