This a an image of a silhouette of a Great Blue Heron. The intent was to have the dual diagonals entering from both sides lead the viewer's eyes to the main subject. 8-)

One from Missouri flipped. Nice start for the day, Jim's. Trying to prove Jim's point of reading pictures left to right. You can't do it with every picture, because the writing also flips. Which one do you think is easier on the eye?

I like the first one, the original. Do you think it is because I am left eye dominant? :-)

Could be. I find the second easier to look at and I'm right eye dominant. I think it's more that we are taught to read left to right and our first instinct is to look at the right side of the picture.

Rufe, I cannot decide. On the site it mentions left to right is better but personally I think that what you like is better. However if you are layering or using Oloneo and then take one of each it might be cool. I've done it vertically with a bridge, wasn't all that shabby either

I agree with what you like is better.

Here are three more; some of you may remember seeing them before - I posted them a couple of months earlier. That's it -- the magazine's empty now.

That's about as diagonal as you can get ... Screens in MN in January.....keeps the winter skeeters out of the house?

Deleted the screen picture - just looked too dark once posted. Yep screens - behind the glass pane!

Repost of screen pic.......[/quote]
I find this photo subject an optimistic gleam of hope during this freezing seasonal period. Waiting eagerly for spring and the need for a screen again.
